Sara is an Italian-German director based in Vienna, working across commercials, branded content, music videos, and narrative film.

Her roots sparked a particular interest in concepts of identity and human behavior. Her work explores how people are shaped by the worlds they inhabit. Whether telling intimate stories or developing visual concepts for brands, she is drawn to moments that reveal something honest, unexpected, and deeply human.

Sara combines a strong sense of storytelling with visually expressive world-building. Her directing approach balances emotional authenticity with carefully crafted imagery, often using metaphor, subtext, and a touch of humor to create films that resonate beyond the surface. Her visual language ranges from poetic and intimate to bold and playful, always in service of the story and its characters.

Her work spans cultural institutions, public organizations, and purpose-driven brands, including the Jane Goodall Institute, Das Land Niederösterreich, ARWAG, the Museum of Modern Art Salzburg, European Carbon Control, and Designer Kareem Aladhami.

Sara is currently developing her experimental short film YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN, exploring dementia through the metaphor of living inside a museum and shining a light on its impact on family caregivers.
